Hiro Abe

Hiro Abe is the Managing Director of H. A. Advisors, a firm providing hotel and hospitality advisory services to real estate developers, hotel owners, and hotel operating companies. His expertise spans hotel development, investment, asset management, branding, hotel operations, and hotel management agreements. 

Hiro’s international hospitality career began in 1993 at Park Hyatt Tokyo. In 2002, he moved to Chicago to serve as Corporate Director of Strategic Marketing for Hyatt International Corporation, further expanding his global industry experience. From 2006 to 2017, based in Tokyo, he led Hyatt’s hotel operations and development for Japan and Micronesia as Managing Director of Hyatt Japan. He later served in Hong Kong as Vice President – Revenue, Asia Pacific, supporting more than 150 Hyatt hotels across the region. In 2020, Hiro founded H. A. Advisors. 

Hiro holds a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tokyo. He currently serves as a Specially Appointed Professor at Rikkyo University and an Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
