Bio:
Hiroshi Tashiro currently serves as Deputy Director of the Hotel and Hospitality Business Headquarters at NTT Urban Development Corporation (NTT UD). He also holds the position of Senior Vice President at NTT Urban Development Hotel Management Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT UD specializing in hotel asset management.
With over 20 years of extensive experience in hotel development and hotel asset management, Hiroshi possesses deep expertise in the development and ownership of international hotels under hotel management contracts. He has successfully led multiple hotel projects in Japan and China, demonstrating a strong command of site selection, operator negotiations, hotel management contract execution, design coordination, and post-opening asset management.
At NTT UD, Hiroshi has played a pivotal role in the successful development of notable and first-entering into Japan hotels such as Capella Kyoto, Patina Osaka and Ace Hotel Kyoto. He is currently overseeing the development of Hyatt Centric Sapporo, scheduled to open in late 2026.
Prior to joining NTT UD in 2015, Hiroshi held key roles at Mori Building, where he led the development of Park Hyatt Shanghai and Andaz Tokyo.
