Jason Leong

Bio:

Jason is the Managing Director of Investments at Frasers Hospitality and is responsible for optimising Frasers Hospitality’s real estate portfolio through investment, divestment and asset management. His experience in hospitality real estate investment and business development spans over 14 years.

Jason was previously the Senior Vice President, Investment at Shorea Capital from 2022 to 2023.  Preceding that, he was the Head of Investment at Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) between 2018 to 2022 where he was responsible for developing and executing FHT’s investment strategy. Prior to the formation of FHT, he was Deputy Director of Business Development at Frasers Hospitality and headed its business development and investments across the Southeast Asia and Australia regions.

Jason has extensive overseas working experience. He was stationed in New York, USA with the overseas Singaporean unit at the National Population and Talent Division, Prime Minister's office in 2009 – 2012. Prior to that, he was with the Ascott Group Limited under the business development and investment functions. He started his career with Singapore Trade Development Board (currently known as Enterprise Singapore) and had a 3-year stint as its centre director in Manila, Philippines.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
