Bio:
Laura Gasca Beltrán works as a Senior Project Specialist at the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), where she supports projects related to investment, innovation, and education in the tourism sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia) and a master’s degree in Communications from Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), with a focus on sustainable development and country branding.
Before joining UN Tourism, she worked at ProColombia, the national promotion agency, as an International Strategy Advisor. There, she contributed to cross-sector research, managed projects across 33 international offices, and participated in sustainability and digital transformation initiatives.
She has also collaborated with innovation consultancies such as Bax & Company, where she supported cooperation projects focused on new technologies for sustainable mobility, and A Piece of Pie, where she worked on UX/UI design and user-centred research for public and private clients.
Laura is also a certified Scrum Master, and has experience managing agile teams. As an independent consultant for the International Trade Centre (ITC), she has contributed to research and projects aimed at strengthening trade links between Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
