Mark Durran is one of Australia's most respected hospitality real estate advisors, with more than 36 years of experience across hotel investment, brokerage, operations, and development throughout Australasia and the Asia-Pacific region. As a senior leader at HTL Property, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening the firm's hotel brokerage and advisory capabilities.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mark has personally negotiated more than 140 major hotel transactions with a combined value exceeding AUD 6.5 billion, making him one of the region's most accomplished hotel investment specialists. Prior to joining HTL Property, he spent 25 years in senior leadership roles at JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group before leading the Hotel Capital Markets team at Savills. Renowned for his deep market knowledge and strategic insight, Mark advises investors, owners, developers, and operators on hotel acquisitions, disposals, capital markets, and investment strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.
