Paola Orneli Bock

Paola Orneli Bock is the Deputy - Director of the Hotel Properties team at Aareal Bank AG, one of the leading debt financing providers within the hospitality industry. The bank currently holds a portfolio of more than €12 billion of hotel financing in more than 20 countries across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Aareal Bank’s hotel team focuses primarily on lending to first-class hotels in prime locations as well as portfolio and cross border transactions. 

Prior to that, Paola was a VP at HVS Bangkok, providing advisory services throughout Asia. Paola started her career at Cushman & Wakefield’s London Office covering several markets across EMEA and later she went on to head up their China hospitality division. With 20 years in the hospitality sector, Paola has provided advice in 25 territories across the world. Her experience includes financing hospitality assets, evaluating new hotel and resort opportunities, management agreement negotiations, transaction advice, strategic and branding analysis and highest and best use assessments. She is a graduate from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management.
