Sean Simms

For almost 30 years, Sean Simms has been involved in the planning and site design of luxury, hospitality-focused projects in more than 40 countries. As a planner and landscape architect, he has always focused his efforts in creating immersive environments for guests and ensuring that “place-making” starts with the place. 

In 2008, Sean founded SKS Studios based in the United States with a second office in Dubai. SKS studios have provided masterplanning and landscape architectural services for projects ranging from singular luxury villas to luxury resort hotels to masterplans encompassing thousands of hectares of land. SKS Studios have successfully delivered their award-winning landscape designs for brands such as Kerzner International, Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Belmond, and MGM.
