Bio:

Victor, Executive Director of Aurex Capital, is a real estate professional with extensive knowledge in residential, hotel, and commercial real estate throughout China, the UK, Japan, and the USA. Victor has over 20 years of real estate experience covering acquisition, construction, operations, and disposition. He is adept in portfolio management, including managing capital allocation, preparing financial reports, and investor relationships. 

He started his career with in-depth hotel operations experience as Hyatt International’s Corporate Trainee stationed at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai. Later joined Starwood Hotels, in-charge of the planning, development and acquisition of all nine Starwood brands within Greater China, had conducted in-depth market studies in well over 25 cities within China and had successfully acquired fourteen hotels into the Starwood system. 

He has served as Head of Real Estate and Asset Management for two family offices: one for a Chinese real estate entrepreneur and another for a biotech entrepreneur. His track record includes acquiring and managing over US$1.5 billion in hotel and residential assets across three continents, including: 

· The Hilton Chengdu 

· A portfolio of seven US hotels valued at $680 million 

· A ski resort in Hokkaido (JPY 15 billion) 

· Luxury residences in the Japan, USA and UK 

His experience also includes managing: 

· 14 full-service hotels in North America 

· A London hotel 

· An arena in Germany 

· A mixed-use development (retail, office, hotel) in Chengdu 

· An upper-scale hotel with a distressed turnaround strategy in Chengdu 

· Over 20 luxury residences globally 

Victor is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, the President of the Cornell Hotel Society (North Asia Region), and a council member of the Cornell University Council. He also owns a skin clinic in Macau and serves as Vice President of the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce there.
