Vinesh Motwani

Vinesh Motwani is Managing Partner and CIO of RV Capital Partners, a private equity hospitality real estate investment firm with a portfolio spanning premium assets across Asia-Pacific.

Born and raised in Kobe, Japan, Vinesh brings both institutional and deeply personal knowledge of Asian markets. His career spans senior roles at KKR, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse, where he focused on US and Asian markets across private equity and investment banking. 

At RV Capital, Vinesh leads a strategy targeting premium, undersupplied hospitality markets where active ownership and local execution drive returns. The firm’s portfolio includes ultra-luxury villa assets and branded hotels across Bali, with an active pipeline in Japan and Thailand. Based in Singapore since 2013, Vinesh combines a decade of regional rootedness with institutional capital markets experience.

Asian institutional capital is repositioning hospitality from an alternative into a core allocation. Vinesh has watched that shift from the inside—first as an institutional investor, now as a GP deploying into the assets driving it.
