Wendy Shi

Wendy Shi serves as the CFO & Executive Vice President of Agora Hospitality Group (TYO: 9704), a Tokyo-listed real estate and hospitality company founded in 1975. She leads the company’s development, asset acquisitions, operations, and transformational corporate initiatives. 

AHG is an owner, operator, and developer with active real estate investments in Japan, Malaysia, and Australia. Wendy has played a key role in the Group’s growth, leveraging her global experience to manage a diverse portfolio of full-service hotels, limited-service business hotels, and traditional onsen resorts in major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. She has been instrumental in expanding AHG’s regional footprint, deepening strategic partnerships, and driving the Group’s shift toward a more flexible management platform, broadening its role in the hospitality industry. 

Before joining AHG, Wendy held senior roles at listed real estate firms, specializing in corporate finance, acquisitions, and hospitality asset management, with a career spanning Asia, Europe, and the US. 

Wendy is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She holds a master’s degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
