Angel Li

Angel is the Founding Partner of Avatar Capital Partners, with extensive experience in private equity real estate and special situations across Asia Pacific. Before establishing Avatar, Angel served as Head of Asia for Macquarie Asset Management Real Estate and as an IC Member of its Global Real Estate Fund. 

Before that, Angel was Head of Portfolio Management and an IC Member at CLSA Real Estate, where she managed US$4.5 billion of real estate investments across Asia Pacific, including US$1.2 billion in Japan. 

Angel began her career at Merrill Lynch’s Global Principal Investments Group, where she was responsible for event‑driven investments, including distressed debt, non‑performing loans, and restructurings across Asia.  

She holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the HKUST and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
